What's with all this media obsession about the lunar impact planned for tonight? Was no one paying attention when they did this 10 years ago? Neat, but hardly a big deal.

The media is a goldfish. It's immediately accessible memory is probably around six months to a year long, maybe five years at the outside.

I'd put it more at a range of two days to two years at the outside, myself. Political media maybe two days to six months. Tops.
