Hint to politicians: Pay your taxes! And check the immigration status of your nannies!

Seriously, why are these two things so hard to do? You never see interesting nomination problems, just tired variations on stuff like this. I want someone to go down in flames for being a Lichtensteinian spy, or running a speakeasy in their Senate office, or jerrymandering their district to be the shape of an aroused camel. I don't think that is too much to ask of our public servants.

Yeah, you'd think that they would have this down by now.

I am reminded of Eddie Izzard's original sin routine.

You know... Original sin! What a hellish idea that is! People have to go, "Father, bless me for I have sinned, I did an original sin. I poked a badger with a spoon."

"Oh, all right..."
