Next year for Talk Like a Pirate Day, I think we should say things like 'Arrr, living in a failed state is the life for me! Where be the cruiseliners and ships of UN food aid?'

One should also consider, however, that the side of a cruise ship is much like that of a barn: A big, broad target. :D As long as they don't splash it into the ocean w/ bad aim, they'll probably hit something.

And they did hit the ship. Though at least one round was a dud.

I really wish I could, but I have to work. Alas, there would be sooo many lovely toys to get. :D

Oh, and I fibbed, it's next week, not this week. :D

True. My target was a fence post 50 yards away; slightly more difficult to blow up (though I managed).

On the other hand... looking at the specialist in question... the quality of the arms afforded to them might suggest any hole in the side of the cruise ship will be caused by rust...

They did, at least twice, in the same spot.

If I heard the report correctly they fired 2-3 rocket propelled grenades into the side of the ship. 1-2 went off creating a hole and doing some interier damage. At least one entered the hole, but did not go off.

Which is why the boat docked at the tiny island nation and evacuated all passengers and crew. Some major power's navy in the area sent a uxb team to remove the grenade and check for for other remaining dangerious bits.
