My Life as Fanfic

The last two-ish years of life in my immediate social group has been pretty weird. Full of improbably cool events, exaggerated drama, and unlikely romantic developments.

Obvious conclusion: I am living in someone's fanfic.

So the question is, what was our original cannon? Do we resemble it at all, or has the author gone crazy? Who were the main characters? Could it be a crossover fic? And most importantly, who is the Mary Sue?

Well, we have pretty well discovered that you *are* Peter Jackson. I wonder if he writes fanfic?

Also: canon. If we have an original cannon, could you let me know, please? There are some people at whom I'd like to aim it.

The obvious author is Peter Guerin, you know.

And now I shall go turn into a robot who is also a sailor-suited teenage girl who has an improbably tragic past and go kick some ass to the accompaniment of heavy metal.

No way, it can't be Peter Guerin, or else there'd be a whole lot of wacky insane dictators and stupid leaders and...

uh...

God help us all.

Isn't it obvious?

That would be me.

When my roommate Lea and I (a.k.a. the Wondertwins) thought of this a few years back we decided we were the comic relief, and that we were probably in some rip-off of Real Genius. We suspected the main character to be [livejournal.com profile] plantae, since she was the only one that wasn't totally insane.

These days... I'd suspect [livejournal.com profile] corivax. Which is not to say s/he's not totally insane. S/he's just got the most MarySue tags on.
