The film contest starts tomorrow. I'm renting a nice GL-1 from Glazer's for the weekend, so we'll have better equipment than we're used to.
Those who want to help thrash out a plot be at the Republic by 7pm on Friday. That's when we get our theme, our prop, and our line of dialog. I'll almost certainly be doing the writing myself, but it's always helpful to have people to bounce ideas off of when coming up with an outline.
Anyone (who hasn't already told me, or is just very eager not to be overlooked) who would be interested in acting, which should take maybe 8 hours on Saturday, post here or mail me. It all depends on the exact script we come up with, so I can't guarantee anyone a roll. And of course, anyone who wants to come be crew (hold the mic boom, deal with the clapboard, run random errands) is a god and I will love them forever.
Like last year, I'll try to make regular updates here over the weekend.
