Today ended up being a very art-shot happy day with my camera. It started with this unusual convergence of plant and fence. Much later, waiting for the bus and trying not to fall asleep I started playing with the long exposure nightshot mode and had fun with motion blur. Bus arriving, bus motion lines. I really enjoy the lighting in nightshots. The angle and the intensity are all wrong. It makes everything look otherworldly, particularly weird decorative columns. Finally, a block from home there is a crosswalk with an illuminated crosswalk sign hanging above it. Standing in the middle of the road I was able to get this shot of its weird buzzing underbelly.

Too cool. I like the bus-blur ones best.

I still want someone to be able to explain to me why it looks like it's retreating. :)
