So I had to go down to Re-PC to look for usb alternative to my failing ps/2 port. Got a nice cheap usb mouse, and headed back. Thought, hey, let's stop for lunch at Uwajimaya.

(For those of you playing along at home, where home != Seattle, Uwajimaya is the big Japanese grocery store/bookstore/import store/food court near downtown. It is in the International District, at the heart of the city's Japanese community. Sense a Japanese theme? It's key to this story.)

So I order some nice, deli-style generic pan-asian food. I sit down. I take out a book, because I always have a book with me to read in situations like this. I had finished one earlier in the day and had grabbed the next one from my overflowing to-read pile.

It was Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo.

There's also an Uwajimaya in Bellevue.

And one in Portland, I discovered recently.

While you're at it, you could read Thirty Seconds Over Elma (http://home1.gte.net/ikvamar/flybaby/elma.htm). It's pretty funny.

I don't really have anything else... just... oh dear... That's OK, I was accidently wearing my t-shirt from last year's gay pride march when some kids from my mom's bible youth group came over.

OK, that one was just fun.
