So I had to go down to Re-PC to look for usb alternative to my failing ps/2 port. Got a nice cheap usb mouse, and headed back. Thought, hey, let's stop for lunch at Uwajimaya.
(For those of you playing along at home, where home != Seattle, Uwajimaya is the big Japanese grocery store/bookstore/import store/food court near downtown. It is in the International District, at the heart of the city's Japanese community. Sense a Japanese theme? It's key to this story.)
So I order some nice, deli-style generic pan-asian food. I sit down. I take out a book, because I always have a book with me to read in situations like this. I had finished one earlier in the day and had grabbed the next one from my overflowing to-read pile.
It was Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo.
