Attoparsec received an invitation to the Kitsap Mini Maker Faire next Sunday (June 5). Which is 1) pretty cool and 2) extremely short notice. It sounds like it is going to be very mini indeed. Should I do it? I could get the el wire interface kits finished by then, and maybe throw together a poster about Attoparsec projects. I could take the lightsuit, maybe throw together a el wire/arduino/interface kit demo to go with it. The fireprop and etched brass fan and goggles, static display only. Maybe the hexapod hip joint (unpowered) and the RC hexapod robot, that would probably be popular. It's too bad the Kalamazoo isn't in working order (though it's getting back into fighting trim surprisingly quickly, will have to make a separate post about that), but renting a trailer to take it over just wouldn't be worth it right now. Given the lack of prep time, and portable projects available to take with me, do people think it would be worthwhile? It would be nice to make Attoparsec a bit more visible, but I don't want to waste anyone's time either.

Well, you could look at it as sort of a trial-run for the big thing next year(?). Get a feel for showing stuff off in an organized fashion. Develop some patter.
It might be nice to have a writeup or how-to for the goggles/fan/fireprop. Including the processes involved and specifying the availability of the resources required and skill level needed.
