Well, how did I get here?

I hope to have April Tools pictures and video up soon, along with a complete write up. But it was a fun, ridiculous, and very wet experience. I'm still quite sore. Now that it and Norwescon are over, I need to switch mental gears.

May 14-15: I drive over to Spokane to retrieve the Kalamazoo. I'll be feverishly working on that for the next month, trying to get it usable in time for the parade.

May 20-22: I'll be in the Bay Area for Maker Faire! I'll get to see [livejournal.com profile] keystricken and [livejournal.com profile] adularia and maybe a bunch of other hoopy froods as well. I'm not going to show off any project -- this year. I'd sure like to take the hexapod next year.

ETA: June 6-10: I might be in Germany helping our team there develop automated tests. Very not official yet.

June 18: Fremont Soltice Parade. Assuming the Kalamazoo is working, I'll be looking for people to dress up and walk along with it.

And, of course, the spectre of Burning Man is starting to loom over the horizon. I really need to start figuring out camp details for this year.

When you get to Maker Faire, listen for the booming drums and stop by to say hello!

Our Taiko group is demonstrating drum building and teaching folks how to play.

Just saw in a Maker Faire update that they are going to have the "darkened" expo hall again. Last year it host the giant tesla coil music and lots of other light exhibits.
