xmas mentos

It's a bit late, but here's a video of us testing out a cheap little stocking stuffer I got for Christmas.

I had to file down the release tab a bit to get it to pull out smoothly, but other than that it was surprisingly well designed. It even had a little collar that slipped down over the holes after the tab was pulled to prevent soda from escaping sideways. Cute toy. Even came with a package of Mentos, enough for two runs.

Nice to see an improved mechanism for Menthos insertion.

I liked what they did on Mythbusters, with a magnet inside the tube to hold the Mentos up, itself held in place with an easily removed magnet on the outside of the tube. But this certainly makes more sense for a mass-produced toy.

OK, where DID you get that?! (Or more accurately, does Santa know where he got it? :)

I have no idea where you can physically get one, but looks like you can order it from geysertube.com (http://www.geysertube.com).
