Did anyone else have the moment, when they were a kid, that they suddenly wanted to stay with the adults and talk at the table after a big holiday meal instead of running off to play? I think that was my first time I was really conscious of growing up.

How many adults are we talking? This concept confuses me as I'm having trouble remembering any holiday where there were more than two adults present and any sort of unusual conversation to be had. Often, only one adult. I think some people had more family than I did.
