Burning Man

Who do I know going to Burning Man this year? And where will you be camped?

I'll be camping with Kung Fu Sock Monkey, inside Kidsville. (Yes, there will be two small children with us.) Assuming we're given the slot the camp map says we're supposed to get, we'll be at what would be the intersection of 5:30 and E (E doesn't go through there). But in any case, we should be easy to find inside Kidsville. We'll have my dad's wind turbine up, and I suspect the Kalamazoo will get a lot of attention.

I'm really looking forward to being part of a real camp for once. Before I've always just set up out in the boonies where ever I could find space. Being that close to Center Camp seems like such a treat, and not being surrounded by annoying party people seems like even more of a treat. The big thing this year is, of course, the Kalamazoo. The Self-Adjusting Electro-Mechanical Sunglasses will be back, now converted into goggle format for more comfortable wearing. The Laser Medusa Helmet upgrade is almost complete (expect video soon). And I'll have a hexayurt! I'm hoping that means I can sleep in at least a little bit. Going in style this year, no doubt.
