Experimental Cryptozoology

When alligators are raised in cramped environments, such as those found in sewers and other low pits, sometimes their tails become entangled and fuse together under the unclean influence of the muck and mire. The resulting composite creature is known as an alligator king, and of the purely biological creatures known to man it is one of the most fearsome.

This is one of the few known pictures of an alligator king. Please excuse the poor quality, as it was taken in haste. (And the author seems to have lost his good camera, which he finds very vexing.)
