revelation

The intersection of people for whom this makes sense is probably fairly low, but I just had a minor epiphany: Nate Silver is Jeremy from Sports Night. That's why fivethirtyeight.com was so awesome last year. It was channeling Aaron Sorkin from both directions.

Haven't seen Sports Night yet, but we've worn out some of our West Wing DVDs (the two-sided season 1 and 2 ones). I take it that Jeremy was the stats geek, and played by Joshua Malina?
