I tried tuning in to WWV, but the signals (2.5MHz, 5MHz, 10MHz, 15MHz, 20MHz) were all too faint for my receiver.
I watched the Nixie tube UTC clock (http://leapsecond.com/java/nixie.htm) on leapsecond.com instead, but it failed so spectacularly (actually started counting backwards after the leap second) that at least one person on the Leap Second mailing list assumed it was a deliberate joke.
