I just got back from a bachelor party. In the past 12 hours I have:

• Drunk a lot of port.


• Played poker for the first time.


• Ended up with $76.70 after a $20 buy in.


• Spent all that and more on an amazing steak dinner that ended up being the most expensive meal I've ever paid for.


• Attended a surprisingly good production of Ovid's Metamorphoses which used a pool in the middle of the set to great effect.

In about 4 hours I need to be up packing for a camping trip to my supervisor's cabin.

Y'know...I don't think I've ever had port. I'm mostly a sweet wine drinker when I'm not having a good dark beer. Riesling seems to be my favorite.
