Walking back from kendo with all my gear -- including a very visible and accessible bokken -- keeps giving me media flashbacks. A car drives by? Matrix Reloaded. Some people playing with a frisbee? Time for the drunken bender out of Snow Crash. Really, it's a good thing I'm not doing iaido.

Especially with a live katana :-)Peace bond those weapons! (Former aikido student here). Hm. Now I'm thinking about "Kill Bill." Yup. Checked the DVD cover art and she's carrying a katana.
