Oh wow, being able to chew on the right side of my mouth without risking 6-7 Likert scale pain is amazing. And being able to drink beverages that aren't exactly body temperature. And being able to breath in slightly cold air. It's just all so novel! And best of all, the problem wasn't even major. No root canal, no crown (yet). And I even lucked into finding a dentist almost as cool as Dr. Tarr in Seattle.

It /IS/ amazing, I have to agree. Of course, for me it was WITH root canal and crown, but.

Amusingly, if you can call it that, fixing the Really Bad tooth revealed that the next one behind it was slightly-bad. Years and years of slight discomfort, masked by years and years of major pain. La.

I'm still not chewing on the right side as much as the left. Years of habitual avoidance are proving hard to break.
