I finally gave in and joined Facebook. Annoyingly, there is another Matthew Dockrey there, which just never, ever happens. But if you want to find me there, you should be able to figure out who is who.

I'm starting to like it as a kind of intermediate between LJ and Twitter. Plus, it's the gold standard on campus. I've only met one person there who has even heard of LJ. =\

LJ is an odd mix of people these days. The non-MOOers I follow here are either Perl (and other sorts of) hackers or SF writers.

It's interesting how thoroughly Facebook has become the site students use, in just a few years' time.
