I just stayed up all night working on a story. I haven't done that in a couple of years, and it feels nice. Good to be directly creative again. Grad school is fun, but I haven't had many opportunities to do stuff yet. I feel like I'm letting all you readers out there down by being so boring. (Aren't I full of myself?)

The story is about halfway done, but I'm really feeling the swing of things now. It's set in Ondarra, the renaissance-ish fantasy world based roughly on Puget Sound that I've been developing for years. It features a Newcomen atmospheric engine and microwave beam weapons. Aw yeah.
