2006-2007
Whoops, I'm a bit overdue for my yearly review. Better do this while it's at least still the correct month.
Between September 4, 2006 and September 4, 2007 I...
...taught myself the basics of Mayan glyphs
...made two machetes from scratch, the second one being almost halfway decent
...started an LLC and released an under-appreciated GIS tool
...refreshed my first aid certification
...toured a nuclear reactor
...paddled 1500 km on the second largest river in North America
...claimed a primary degree Confluence
...moved to a foreign country
...started grad school
And, of course, some other stuff. It wasn't the year I was expecting, but when is it ever? Life is what happens when you're making other plans. If nothing else, I spent last fall being miserable at work, decided I needed to make some radical changes to my life, and here I am in Vancouver. That's pretty cool.
