If it turns into a wake, it may not be quiet anymore! Though for an actual death, the wake at my apartment last year was anything but quiet - drunken yelling, drunken crying, and drunken drinking occured. :)
Tempting. I'll see how Nibs & I feel that night. We may just crack open a bottle of mead ourselves. (We can't both come, natch. You can't get a trustworthy sitter on two days' notice for love or money.)
Yeah yeah, not something I note as much now that I vote absentee/by mail. If the weather is reasonable, maybe I'll scoot over on the bike for a bit. Otherwise I'll probably ignore the whole thing till Wednesday morning.
