Smelting Party Prep

I am now the proud possessor of 200 pounds of nice, soft, non-striated sandstone. I think it will make excellent natural refractory. I'll be picking up the charcoal in a couple of hours. The ore needs to be crushed and mixed with the flux, and that's it, we're ready to smelt.

Is there a good bus that makes it up to your place from the U-dist? Still not certain I'm making it, but I'm leaning that way...

The 355 is good, but it's a commuter bus that only runs in that direction in the afternoon. Otherwise you'd need to take the 44 or 48 and transfer to a 5 or 28.

Well, considering that I'll be heading up there in the afternoon, that should be about ideal.
