Film Contest Screening

We came in 6th, out of 22 completed entries.

Not bad. Our best showing yet -- with the piece I've liked the least. As usual, I'm left rather disgusted with the judging. But at least it lets me angst over being a misunderstood artist. And there were more non-comedy pieces in the top ten this year, which was nice. Quite a few entries had some really great concepts, technical execution, or artistic merit. It was probably the best set yet, I just strongly disagree about the ordering. (And no, I don't think we deserved much higher than 6th place.)

The funny thing is, just looking at the top 11, I think we deserved to be right around 6th place -- but who was above and below us was totally screwed up.
