We are in Fort Nelson. Which is pretty civilized, because there is free internet in the hotel room. But not hugely civilized, because I don't have cell coverage.

I am now farther north than I have even been before. I was on a bus tour of Scotland when I was 10 and we went to the Isle of Skye. That is roughly at 57 degrees north. I am now 58 degree, 48.1729 minutes north.

Today: the Yukon!

My people hail from the Isle of Skye! There are pictures of me there at age three or so.

I've visited Oslo, Norway, which is at 62 degrees, and took a train from there a degree or two farther north. Didn't get to the Arctic Circle, though.

Go Fish Go!
I've only been to about 56 and a half.
When you're coming back down, you should stay on 97 all the way through Dawson Creek to Alberta.
I'm only 360 miles from Dawson Creek, 360 is nothing to you now! Right? ;) And then you can see Jasper.
Have fun.

360 miles doesn't seem like that much, no. But 720 is still a good day's drive. And I'm thinking about taking Highway 37 south through BC on the way back, if it looks doable.

720 is a pretty long distance. I didn't think about the way back.

And I wasn't actually being very serious. BC is much nicer.

It must be so bizarre being there. I have to do that trip, now.
