Sigh. I have ALWAYS wanted to do that. My ideal would be to drive to seattle, take a ferry to Anchorage, drive up the Dalton to Deadhorse/Prudhoe, then come back and across the Yukon, down to Montana and home. I don't think this is going to be happening soonish.
