Replacement Visor Screen

The replacement screen for my Visor arrived today. This means that Camera Obscura should be updated much more regularly. Drawing comics is very frustrating when there is only a weak statistical correlation between where you put the stylus and what gets drawn. I can actually draw lines that don't look like an EKG now!

Something else was delivered today... A BANDSAW! [livejournal.com profile] vixyish loves me a lot. I now have 3 out of 4 of the shop tools featured in the Camera Obscura cast.

The critical information kiosks located throughout UF's campus are like that. It drives me insane. (See, there aren't ANY CAMPUS MAPS posted ANYWHERE that I can find, simply these dozen or so electric kiosks strategically placed...) But you have to click on a building name to see where it is, and it's all Java on slow machines, so it takes forever. So, no matter what, you can't touch the screen in the right place to get the right building because the machine has all the accuracy of a drunken blind man firing arrows at a small target 200m away.

So, yeah. I feel your pain. Glad to hear the visor screen arrived :)

(end rant, heh)

Which shop tool are you missing?

A vertical mill. And it will be quite some time before I get one, sadly. Almost certainly will have to wait until after I have a proper shop (read: buy a house).

Sorry for not responding earlier. Had some problems with email notification.
