I'd much rather be the director. I'm a hopeless actor, and while I'm not a particularly good director yet, I think I have room for improvement there.
The group Barenaked Ladies have a song called One Week which includes the lyrics: Like Kurosawa I make mad films, Okay I don't make films, But if I did they'd have a samurai. Ever since starting to make movies, I've been joking that is a prophesy that we need to fulfill. vixyish claims that the Lego samurai figure used in Solemn Words counts, but she is obviously a heretic.
