5 of her 13 sails are fore-and-aft, but they're used more for balance/maneuvering than for propulsion. Like most square rigs, she's lucky to get within 60 degrees of the wind. So if the wind is coming anywhere close from the direction we need to go, it's either huge, slow tacks or rely on the "iron wind" of the engine.
