Those are beautiful. I will be using the silicone caulk form system in the near future: I'm glad you talked about it and got me curious about it. I need to cast intake headers for the Spitfire since I don't think I can fabricate them.
2:1 sand/plaster -- plaster of paris? I'd read that you can use plaster of paris straight, but I'd certainly prefer to cut it with sand for hot strength.
