Child of a Metal God

I don't follow EP, but I wonder if the authors of this book, or other EP mavens, are familiar with Native American cultures that had no concept of private property. I know there are ones like the Navajos, who did have such a concept as far as I know, but they'll make astounding sacrifices to mount a collective response when somebody they see as a member (i.e., my grandfather) is in even minor trouble (i.e., unable to afford a train ticket home from college for Christmas).
