The lettering is done by drilling a hole at each vertex and threading the el-wire through, to give those crisp edges. The wavy blue line was just sewn in place with wire through a series of small holes. The original plan was to have the yellow skyline as well, but getting that much detail has escaped me so far. I was going to glue the el-wire directly to the inside of the acrylic covering, but the clamping requirements have escaped me so far. Oh well, leftover el-wire, whatever can I do with that?
