Update from AK
This is the UBC table in the (tiny) contest prep room. All three teams are in here, with about 16 laptops running on a very poor network connection. It's getting uncomfortably warm.
We ran the robot with the very new LIDAR mounting scheme this morning and it looks great. (They are now co-planar, with the tiny Hokuyo unit mounted upside down to read just above the ground. My metalaser code was repurposed to do a simple 'whichever is nearest' merge of the two data streams. So, yay that my stuff is still getting used, but bah that all the interesting parts have been removed.) Still on my plate: getting the poster finished and printed.
