There is a lot of construction along my bus route to work, many of which have concrete pumping booms in use. On the ride in I started to think about what else one could do with them, if you free yourself of the concrete paradigm. It strikes me that they have excellent prank potential, combining the basic laugh of piling up large quantities of a substance where it doesn't belong with the thrill of a locked room mystery. Want to deliver several thousand liters of tapioca into an empty swimming pool 30 meters behind a locked gate? No problem!

What a waste of tapioca.

I mean, if it's like the real stuff, the pre-packed pudding tapioca is gross.
