There are quite a few of the more standard moves (in particular cat/monkey vaults) which it's really hard for me to convince my body won't kill it until I've seen someone actually do them over the same obstacle I'll be trying on at least once :)
Not that aikido-style dive rolls are a bad solution to many things which could be cat vaulted, but practicing with other people would make talking myself into trying new moves a lot easier.
