So, I've started a new blog for my Attoparsec projects. Basically, all the random project updates I used to post here will go there now. There is also a Twitter feed. I'm increasingly playing with developing my Attoparsec brand, and getting people interested in what I'm working on will be an important step.
However, I'll probably always post a link here whenever I make a post there, because I don't want to fragment myself too deeply. Attoparsec is a strict subset of Fishy, after all. In that spirit, here is a post about the working grist mill we saw today.
Beyond that, the trip is going well. We left DC today after a couple very few days. Saw the Holocaust Museum, which was really good and terribly draining. (Also, really good architecture. Definite concentration camp influences, but nothing over the top. Just nicely unsettling.) Did the Udvar-Hazy Center (Air and Space 2: Air and Spacer) again with my dad, which was great. Also, some very good tapas last night. We got into Colonial Williamsburg today, but too late to really see anything. I'm quite excited about seeing it tomorrow -- so many skills on display here I'd love to learn. The craft section of the giftshop bookstore made me drool. A lot.
