Somewhere along the bus trip back to Vancouver tonight, my monocular fell out of its pouch on my utility belt. It has always been the part I use least, so this isn't exactly a catastrophe. But it was the very first component, purchased back in 1997. It spurred the idea of developing a utility belt in the first place. And I really, really hate repeating stupid mistakes. I should have learned after losing my spyglass on the Mackenzie. So, in summary, bah.
