...I have an apartment!
It's a nice little place. Very, very little. In a boring part of town. But it's on a direct and very regular bus route to UBC. The same route runs to a Skytrain station in the other direction.
My weird nomadic summer officially ends on October 1st. I haven't been really connected with reality since I left for the Mackenzie on June 23. I've been slowly working way back up to a normal life ever since: sleeping inside, moving under external power, staying in the same place for more than a day, caring what time of day it is, caring what day of the week it is, and now getting a permanent address again. I know most people would consider grad school a long way from the real world, but compared to my last 3 months I might as well be wearing a suit and getting a mortgage.
