The internets are weird. The greater Firefly community discovered one of our songs yesterday, and quickly proceeded to slashdot us into submission. End result was, after some flailing around, I got to learn how to set up a torrent tracker. (So if you want a copy of Mal's Song, here it is.) It's mostly died down to a request or two per minute now. Bittorrent is good stuff. I should convert all our media files to it, just in case this happens again.
The internets are also tiny. The song in question made its way around to an old BBS friend of mine from Spokane, who saw the name associated with it and contacted me. Growing up in Spokane, I always assumed the world would look bigger once I moved out into it. Emphatically not. There are still only 2000 real people, I just know more of them now.
