Innuendo

The new fileserver, innuendo, is finally up and running. I have been working on this since August -- nothing but a very long series of annoying delays, including my first bad ebay transaction.

This makes it all worthwhile:

571 gigabytes of hardware RAID 5 goodness, mmmmmm. This brings the total effective storage of the entire Republic up to 930 gigabytes, 1000 nominal. Plus 3 60G drives left over from the old RAID, soon to go to deserving homes.

A freaking terabyte. Aw yeah. (Of course, the next fileserver I build will almost certainly be over 2T in size...)
