Why do people bid on eBay auctions before the last 5 minutes? Don't they realize that being the top bidder at any point except when the auction closes is meaningless, right? It only serves to drive the price up. Grrr.

UN Flags

I was idly looking for UN flags for sale (I'd love to have one to fly instead of a US flag, if I had a house or other appropriate venue for flag flying) when I came across this PDF of the official UN flag code, taken from this page of general UN emblem information. I've always thought the US flag code was kind of silly; seeing one for an international organization is even sillier.
