I finally got the test shots on campus done tonight with the help of corivax and they look much better than I have a right to expect. (The sodium lights come out with this great greenish tint.) It was pathetically easy to find noirish shots. I'm really looking forward to doing these shots now (scenes 4 and 6). The freedom of working outside, using natural lighting is an amazing contrast to cramped interior shots.
