Cognitive Dissonance

I just realized that Lars von Trier, whose works Zentropa and The Kingdom I both greatly admired, is also one of the people behind Dogme95, which I tend to mock mercilessly.

I'm so disillusioned.

Which doesn't mean you have to stop either liking his work or mocking Dogme. Nothing like a little cognitive dissonance to keep you on your toes!

Yes. But then I checked to make sure they weren't on crack.

I shouldn't be that surprised, really. How many influential Danish filmmakers can there be?
