It is indeed standard verbage. It also applies to news media accounts of the game. All of the newspapers, TV networks, what have you that post any kind of account or analysis of the game have to sign a licensing deal with the NFL.
I haven't heard of them trying to enforce the licensing rules on bloggers yet, but I suppose they could try if they wanted to do so.
And yes, MLB and the NBA use similar copyright statements.
