I think the government should start more mega-projects. We need new stock footage! The clips from the Manhattan Project and the Apollo program are getting kinda stale.
Are those the only things that count as mega-projects? We (USA) need to build more civil engineering mega-projects. All the tallest buildings, biggest dams and other -ests are being built in Asia these days.
So, we should build the Tunnel for the Alaskan Way Viaduct replacement--that's classified as "mega-project" in the civil engineering world (yes, that's the actual term that's used).
