The signals seem to be getting stronger. There have been quite a few reports of partial reception and the start of some of the SSTV images. Far to weak for me to receive sadly, so I just have to download recordings from AJ3U (http://www.aj3u.com/) and pretend.
The last theory I read was that the batteries were cold and as they have warmed up the transmitter is sending out a stronger signal.
