Ack, I completely forgot to do my traditional year-in-review after my birthday last month.

Between September 4, 2004 and September 4, 2005 I...
...built a forge and started to teach myself blacksmithing.
...built a glovebox and started to teach myself biotech.
...did three runs of fairly authentic chalcolithic era copper smelting, getting more copper each time.
...started a very large and exciting project which will be made public Real Soon Now.
...spent three days canoing down the Columbia.
...built a hovercraft.
...finally got my neural net code to evolve.

Pretty good, but next year has the potential to be amazing. We'll see.

Great. Can you help me with the human race next year? I've been trying for as long as I can remember, and they just won't go any farther. They seem hell-bent on precisely the opposite.

... are we not men? ...
