Hee hee, wearing a Utilikilt to an east-coast con is a lot of fun. They're not nearly so common out here. I've never received compliments from strangers while wearing it in Seattle. Hee.

BTW, hi from Pittsburgh.

Yeah, I noticed that in Boston. [livejournal.com profile] sunspiral has one, but everyone else seemed to be mystified and fascinated by them. It was cute.

Didn't realize you'd gotten one. What color is it?

I'm still tempted by the "Mocker" models, but don't have enought kilt-wearing days to justify a second one.

A caramel workman's. I'm really happy with it. I wear it to work once every few weeks without any problems.

I have the same one! I manage to get away with it at work, even in Spokane!

It's not that I wouldn't happily wear one out here on the east coast (especially this time of year, when the extra airflow is appreciated), it's just that $185 for the workman's is a bit on the steep side.
