Very true, it's easy for Seattleites to think of themselves as Democrats, but there are probably fewer progressive liberals than there are poor black folk who vote Democrat mostly because the Republican party is full of the kind of guys who might say 'Yeee-hawww!'

I've noticed a lot of black homophobia. I suppose it must have to do with religion, although it's possible they just figure it's their turn to oppress someone and divest them of their liberties.
