After two months of on-and-off work, the forge is done. And my parents gave me the old family anvil! The only thing left to do is build the anvil stand, and I can fudge around that for the moment. Once I have a bit of spare time, and am not running a double-digit sleep deficit, I'll be trying it out. Anyone in the area is welcome to come play with it -- the more the merrier.

At some point I need to raid a junkyard for some coil- and leaf-springs and other random stock. Anyone local have some suggestions?

I've been working on a forge construction log that details everything I did. Hopefully it would be useful for anyone else interested in building one.

Two words: Boeing Surplus. Bring a truck. If you don't have a truck, I do.

Woohoo! So, what are you going to forge? Not checks, I hope. (*Bap!*)
